About Sun Camp

As an inclusive day camp for kids, teens, and adults with Down syndrome and similar conditions, and their brothers and sisters, we focus on building reciprocal and balanced long-term friendships.

Sun Camp runs a summer day camp, started in 2013, and now 13 years old, for children with Down syndrome (DS) and their siblings entering grades K-6, and Teens & Adults Camp.

In 2026, Kids Camp will be one week, August 3-7, Teens/Adults Camp two weeks, July 20-24, and July 27-31. The Teens & Adults Camps will take place at a different place each day with drop-off between Mountain View and Redwood City, and Sun Camp Kids will take place at an SF Peninsula location.

We encourage volunteers, and donations through our fiscal sponsor, Social Good Fund, a Bay-Area-based non-profit.
